Peter Wengryn - Chief Executive Officer
Peter Wengryn is Chief Executive Officer of VMS, the worldwide leader in Integrated Media Intelligence solutions. He joined VMS in May of 1999 as the CFO and served in that capacity until being named the CEO of the company in October of 2002. Since becoming CEO, he has changed the VMS business model by centralizing widely distributed production and sales activities and transitioning VMS from a commodity business to a solutions-focused service provider.
Under his leadership, VMS has excelled in technology and product innovation. Wengryn's vision for VMS includes creating services and products designed to meet the specific needs of industry verticals including entertainment, publishing, travel, technology, and telecommunications, among others.
As President and CEO, Wengryn has assembled a highly driven and extremely skilled senior management team. His vision, passion and leadership have become hallmarks of his tenure at VMS. He was recently named a "Supporting Power Player" by PRWeek. Wengryn is one of only a handful of PR industry leaders who are seen as "critical to the profession's growth and development."
Mr. Wengryn has more than 25 years experience in finance and management with companies such as Chase Manhattan Bank, First Boston, General Electric and Seven Worldwide. He served in various financial positions with these companies, from controller to CFO.
Mr. Wengryn graduated from Montclair University with a BS majoring in Finance in 1982. He completed his MBA in Finance at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1985.
Roy H McInnis - Senior Vice President, News Sales 
Mr. McInnis is responsible for sales strategy, business development, and inside and outside sales management.
McInnis is a senior executive and established leader with more than 30 years of executive experience in strategic sales, sales operations, business development, product development and brand marketing. His diverse background includes developing and leading high-performing inside and outside sales teams, and deploying innovative sales processes.
McInnis will leverage his extensive experience at Thomson Reuters, Dow Jones, Dunn and Bradstreet and Moneyline Telerate to enhance VMS’s client-focused business approach.
Leslie Stubin - Senior Vice President, Advertising Services Sales
Ms. Stubin is responsible for leading the sales, business development, client service and product development activities for the Advertising Services Division. She joined VMS in 2006.
She is an accomplished sales professional with a passion for selling and for mentoring the sales staff. She is a proven leader with extensive executive experience in sales management, business development, and has a strong background in the advertising and media world.
Prior to joining VMS, Ms. Stubin served as a joint venture partner with KSL Media where she pursued new business for media buying and planning assignments as well as establishing agency media buying relationships. She was also Chief Media and Marketing Officer at Argent Trading. Her responsbilities included oversight of all 16 International offices including Europe and Latin America.
Stubin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Brooklyn College.
Laila Sayad - Chief Financial OfficerMs. Sayad is Chief Financial Officer of VMS, the worldwide leader in Integrated Media Intelligence solutions.
Sayad joined VMS in July of 1999 as Corporate Controller and served in that capacity until being named VP of Finance in October of 2002. Prior to joining VMS, Laila worked with companies such as GS Imaging Services and Seven Worldwide both having a client base encompassing of PR and agency accounts.
Laila has 25 years of experience with a diverse background in accounting, finance and business management. She is an integral part of our sales team, working very closely with them on customized client solutions and offerings as well as being very engaged directly with many of our clients in support of their unique requirements.
Ms. Sayad graduated from Montclair University in 1985 with a BS in Accounting.
James Waggoner - President, Professional Services Division
Mr. Waggoner is responsible for Professional Services, a Division of VMS focused on Web-based integrated media intelligence tools.
Since joining VMS in January of 1984, Waggoner has held a variety of positions. Most recently he was Executive Vice President of Operations and was responsible for the production side of the News and Advertising divisions. Before that, he had also served as Vice President of Business Development and General Manager of the Dallas News office, among other positions.
Before joining VMS, Waggoner worked for Burrelle's Information Services.
Mr. Waggoner is a graduate of the Southern Methodist University with a bachelor’ s degree in psychology.
Gerry Louw - Chief Information Officer
Mr. Louw joined VMS as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information Services in 2002. He is currently building the next generation meaning based intelligence, monitoring and analysis solutions for VMS. He is also developing and deploying a leading edge capture platform for the largest video capture network in the world.
Louw has over 25 years of experience in new media technology. Along with his proven track record of success, he brings a passion for business-driven technology solutions to VMS. As Chief Technology Officer for World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. he paved the way for WWE to become one of the top three Web entities in the world and the leading provider of online and pay-per-view video content in the world.
Prior to WWE, he served as the Chief Technology Officer for AGENCY.COM, an award winning Internet technology and marketing company.
Jonathan Cape - Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Cape joined VMS as Chief Operating Officer in 2005. He oversees the company’s operations and production centers located in Louisville, Kentucky and Tucson, Arizona. Cape and his team played a critical role in taking the company digital, reengineering workflow and automating process, increasing productivity and speed of delivery to VMS’ clients. He ensures that VMS' operations meets the company's stringent quality and performance benchmarks, and that VMS continues to deliver the industry's best customer service.
As an entrepreneur, executive and consultant, Cape has worked across a broad spectrum of media, over the last 20 years, which includes media technology, media services, internet, broadcast and print. He has played significant leadership roles at companies, which include Vio Inc, Citizen Ltd, Trinity Mirror PLC and Newsday.
Cape holds an MBA, from Temple University, where he was awarded a full scholarship as both a Temple Scholar and the holder of the John Boyer Scholarship. A graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Cape spent eight years as an officer in the Household Cavalry and 5 Airborne Brigade.
Michael Giovia - Chief Marketing Officer
Mr. Giovia is responsible for all the marketing, advertising and public relations activities for the company. Giovia has served as Senior Vice President, News Services and Advertising Services. He also served as Vice President of Sales in VMS' Professional Services Division.
Giovia is a senior manager and proven leader with more than 25 years of executive experience in strategic business development, alliance management, product and brand marketing, public relations and software product development. During his career, Giovia has developed comprehensive marketing, advertising, and public relations programs to support the development and deployment of several successful products. He also has extensive experience building strategic communications plans.
Mr. Giovia has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and elementary education from Dartmouth College.
Joseph Scotti - Senior Vice President, Broadcast Media and Affiliate Relations
Mr. Scotti is responsible for establishing and enhancing relationships across all media with a focus on the television station community and the cable and broadcast television networks. Scotti develops partnerships, affiliations and new business ventures that benefit both VMS and the broadcaster.
Scotti has held executive level positions at Global Media Television, Fremantle Media (formerly Pearson Television) and Showtime Networks all of which provide him with extensive experience in multi platform content distribution and syndication, critical to his position at VMS.
Gary Getto - Vice President, Integrated Media Intelligence
Mr. Getto leads VMS' efforts to measure and analyze the combined impact of news coverage and advertising communications on key business metrics, such as sales or product preferences. He has been primarily responsible for the ground-breaking work done by VMS in linking editorial coverage to business outcomes.
Getto has extensive background in product development, strategic planning, and sales/marketing, especially in the publishing and direct response industries.
Mr. Getto was a senior executive at PRtrak prior to being acquired by VMS in 2005.
Getto holds a B.S., Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and a Masters in Management Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.
